I wasn't present for Week 3 Conference, but I wanted to post something anyways. I feel like I have been left in the dark from not attending. This internship plan has become scary to me. I am so afraid of screwing everything up and trying to be Miss Perfect, that I haven't taken the time to just have fun with everything.
I want to get my hands dirty in the development of technology at my school. There are things in my school that are so outdated, that I think the dinosaurs were around in their time. We are slow to make changes, but I know that with my help we can change things for the better.
After watching the 21st Century Connection, I was inspired for find a grant to help get school laptops for the whole school. How cool would it be to see students doing their work on the computer instead of pencil and paper. They have to take their math and reading tests online anyways, so why not start at the beginning of school? So, that is my goal right now, to start looking at grants through maybe Dell or Intel.
Wish me luck :)

That is a great idea, and you just might be able to use it in our research class that we are taking next. Don't feel overwhlemed, I think we are all feeling the same and at least we have each other to work with. The web conference was more of a review from the other ones so there was not much to miss. Just mek sure you have all of week 5 ready on time because she cannot give nay extensions for it and we cannot progress without our Technology and Principal Competencies internship plans. Also, there was something about not doing the monthly reviews and to make sure you are using the INternship Handbook version 3.3, which I believe we all are. Anytime you need me, just email!!!
